Mary, Queen of Peace, ANCHOR (Aspiring to Navigate by Christ our Hope and Our Redeemer) high school youth ministry is a place for Eastside teens to come grow closer to God, each other and to be themselves! Inspired to follow Christ, and make disciples of others, teens are encouraged to learn and grow in their faith now and their whole life as they continue on their journey of faith. We meet on Sunday nights for our ANCHOR Harbor Nights after the 5 PM youth Mass. We have dinner with the Edge, middle school teens, and then head downstairs to the San Pedro room for our youth night, where we dissect a certain topic relating to our faith through games, hearing witness speakers, joining in small group discussions and praying together.
In addition to our weekly Harbor Nights, ANCHOR also has service projects, retreats, mission trips, and much more. Check out the other pages on this site to learn more!
How do I get involved?
ANCHOR Harbor Nights happen on most Sundays, beginning in October and going until the beginning of May. You can register for ANCHOR anytime throughout the year! Come find Patrick at the beginning of the night and he'd be happy to introduce you to the group!
High school teens at Mary, Queen of Peace are also invited to participate in teen service projects, mission trips, parish events, retreats, and other activities throughout the year!
